MOTCover300Faring from Phoenix, AZ, Mark is a combination of energy, joy and great contemporary songwriting. He writes from a heart of gold and an obviously clear understanding of the New Thought message.

Moment of Truth is Mark’s third release since 1999, and having heard all three of his CD’s I can honestly say, he’s “getting better every minute!”.

"Because I Am" is my favorite, perhaps because it was inspired by last year’s Sound Connections Music Conference “as a reminder that we all have unique and valuable talents – and the world needs us to put them to good use.” But also because of it’s passion and singability. The message is great for Love In Action or Volunteer Recognition services.

"I Bless The God In You" is a wonderful New Thought twist on the traditional Namaste greeting as an easy to sing, up tempo congregational chorus. Great for your meet and greet times or any gathering.

Then in "Isaac & Ishmael", Mark gives us a great history lesson on “the longest running and most tragic, sibling rivalry in our history.”

The title song, "Moment of Truth" is Mark at his folk/pop best. It’s filled with acoustic sound, lush strings, an oboe, even a harp for whimsy and Mark’s clear tenor voice soaring above it all.

It’s all good! Definitely one for your collection.

If I close my eyes while listening to
Time Falls Away, I am floating on a cloud or dancing in a forest.

There is a magical spirit that Mark's music carries. There is an enchanting quality to his voice and music. Piano and guitar accompany his songs along with a message of hope, joy, love and light.

In "Nothing Else Matters," Mark sings, "Nothing else matters but how much do we love." How true and how beautifully it is shared. Mark's uplifting musical message, his years of refining the art of music and song and his bright and shiny heart come through, on Time Falls Away, his latest CD project.

In this crazy time of chaos, fearful thinking and tremendous change in the world and in collective consciousness, Mark is doing his part to remind us of the beauty and joy of life and love.

There is a growing genre of spiritual music that meets our collective need to be lifted out of the "realities" we face every day in the world and reminds us to keep "winging it every day," as in track 5, "Angels Working Overtime."

As children we saw and experienced ourselves in purity, kindness, joy and hope. On Time Falls Away, we are brought back to that state of innocence and eternal truth; all is well and all is love. Thank you, Mark, for that beautiful and necessary reminder in a world full of doubt and fear. The only doubt I have with Mark Hirschhorn is that no one could listen to Time Falls Away and not smile, sing along and feel the joy of life, love and, as in track 3, "Deep Fried Gratitude."
