Financial Oversight for Multinational Companies 

Mark Hirschhorn

A senior executive with operational and financial oversight for public and private companies, Mark Hirschhorn specializes in creating financial departments for early-stage companies during the initial public offering (IPO) process. He has managed more than 50 acquisitions in various international markets and has led negotiations with all involved parties for four IPOs to date. In addition, Mark Hirschhorn has experience creating initial business plans, budgets and forecasts, and financial projections for multinational businesses while also ensuring proper tax structuring and statutory compliance. 

Since January 2022, Hirschhorn has served as CEO at TapestryHealth, which provides clinicians and advanced remote vitals management technology to ensure the best possible long-term care for patients at hundreds of senior care facilities. He was specifically brought in to scale the company through business expansion and diversification. 

History

Early Career

Hirschhorn previously worked as Talkspace’s president, COO & CFO. Hirschhorn was tasked with creating an enterprise division that grew from $1m in ARR to over $50m in ARR in 18 months. Hirschhorn also directed the company’s public debut in June 2021. 

 Immediately prior to Talkspace, Hirschhorn was chief financial officer (CFO) at Aris Global, where he engaged with banks and potential private equity investors and led all acquisition financing efforts prior to the company’s sale to Nordic Capital for $800 million. He has additional CFO experience at RCS/Media Monitors & BT Radianz, Ltd. 

Earlier in his career, Mark Hirschhorn spent nearly five years as global controller and vice president at RSL Communications, Ltd. In addition to creating the multinational telecommunications company’s financial controls and global reporting policies, he integrated more than 30 company acquisitions through five years and managed reporting requirements for more than 50 domestic and foreign subsidiaries. Hirschhorn also structured an unsecured line of credit with Ericson Equipment Finance which, at the time, was among the largest ever for a private company. 

Mark Hirschhorn holds an MBA in accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government from Rutgers University. He is a frequent presenter in front of audiences at Deutsche Bank, Wells Fargo, JPMorgan, and Citigroup. Outside of his professional endeavors, he maintains an active lifestyle via hobbies such as running, cycling, alpine climbing, and tennis.
